Autism 101 Class
Idaho Center for Autism is holding a Autism 101 class on the second Tuesday of every month from 6:00-7:00pm. The goal of the class is to help families understand the diagnosis and help acquaint them with local resources that may help. Focus is also placed on helping families learn to navigate systems in order to access help. Class is held at ICA, 5353 Franklin Road, Boise ID 83705. Free to primary caregivers. $5.00 for all others to cover cost of materials provided in class. Please call or email in advance to register: 342-0374 or jmathias@idahocenterforautism.com

We meet the 3rd Tuesday of every month from 6:30-7:30. Open forum discussions. No guest speakers. Parent facilitated group. Idaho Youth Leadership Forum
A week-long leadership, citizenship and career development program for high school juniors and seniors with disabilities. The program will be held at the Boise State University Campus. Selected youth serve as delegates from their communities at a five-day conference in Boise. The youth will stay in the Boise State University residence halls. They will participate in educational programs in the areas of self-esteem, self advocacy, choosing a career, the history of disability as a culture, working with policymakers, and assistive technology through presentations by successful adults with disabilities, community leaders, and national speakers. Keep Moving Forward Annual Conference
The conference will be held at the Grove Hotel in Boise Idaho on Thursday October 21 and Friday October 22nd. The Conference focuses on providing information and training in the areas of: Developmental Disabilities, Mental Health, Employment Services, Personal/Professional Growth, and Supervision/Leadership.
